  • Our Process: We thoroughly clean and inspect the rods, check for axial alignment, and grind the mating faces of the rod and cap.
  • Resizing: Once reassembled and torqued to exact specification, we hone the internal diameter back to its original, perfectly concentric OEM dimension, ensuring proper bearing shell crush and seating.
  • Pin Bushing Replacement: We install and precision-bore new small-end wrist pin bushings, guaranteeing perfect parallelism with the crankpin journal.

Structural Integrity & Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

Before any grinding or machining begins, every component undergoes rigorous non-destructive testing. We utilize high-resolution magnetic particle inspection (MT) across the entire shaft and rod body, particularly around critical oil holes and fillet radiuses, to isolate subsurface micro-fissures or material fatigue that could compromise the component under load.
